Systems and Assets Screen Reference
Navigate system detail, asset detail and history, and the supported add or edit flows.
Before you start
- You need the installed-equipment context beneath a site.
Expected outcome
You can inspect the equipment hierarchy and use only the mutation controls that are currently available.
System Details
- Review the system identity and its asset register.
- Open an asset to view its record.
- Use Schedule Inspection with the site and system preselected.
- Add an asset when write access is active.
- Use the row edit action to update an existing asset.
Asset Details
Asset Details can show identification, specification, location, notes, QR code, and photos. Its supported exits are:
- Edit Asset;
- Asset History;
- Photo Viewer when photos exist;
- confirmed deletion when the user can write.
The current Asset Details screen does not expose a copy action. Do not treat the registered CopyAsset route as proof that copying is available from this screen.
Asset History
History provides timeline and trend views, can filter inspection and defect events, and opens the owning inspection for deeper review. Historical inspection access remains subject to workspace and deployed-work visibility.
Adding an asset
The add form supports service-specific asset types and fields. Where available, type-code decoding or equipment-label OCR can prefill candidate values; review those values before save. Fire-damper fields appear only for the relevant asset category.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| An asset is absent | Confirm the site and system, then refresh the register. |
| Scan results look wrong | Treat decoded or OCR values as a draft and correct them before save. |
| Add, edit, or delete is unavailable | Confirm the active plan and workspace write access. |
