Dashboard Screen Reference
Understand Today’s Run, upcoming work, quick actions, workspace summaries, and sync cues.
Before you start
- You need the daily field overview rather than a single inspection.
Expected outcome
You can use the dashboard to open deployed work and recognise capability or sync limits.
Main regions

| Today’s Run | Shows the selected day’s deployed stops, assigned engineers, planned on-site and travel time, held-back count, and the first four stops. |
| Quick actions | Start Inspection, Scan, Search, Drafts, plus Analytics or AI when enabled. |
| Upcoming Inspections | Opens scheduled visits and links to the full Inspections tab. |
| Workspace summaries | Shows operational totals, recent activity, site prompts, announcements, and available commercial or asset summaries. |
| Sync Status | Appears when offline, changes are pending, or sync errors exist; opens the detailed queue and recovery screen. |
Inspection stops open the Inspection workspace. Work-order stops open Work Order Detail when the Work Orders capability is available. Planner tasks are shown for route context but are not separate actionable records in mobile.
Visibility rules
- Today’s Run loads when your resolved workspace access includes the Scheduler capability. This viewing access is separate from authority to manage office planning or drafts.
- Engineers who cannot manage the schedule see deployed work, not office drafts.
- Analytics, AI, Work Orders, and Quotes require both the relevant mobile feature and workspace capability.
- Unavailable guarded routes show an explicit unavailable state; the dashboard does not bypass access controls.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| A stop is absent | Check the active workspace, selected day, and whether the office deployed the schedule. |
| A quick action is missing | Confirm the workspace feature and your resolved capability. |
| Sync Status is visible | Open it and resolve pending, blocked, or failed changes rather than treating the dashboard count as proof of upload. |
| A work-order stop will not open | Confirm Work Orders is enabled and that the deployed record remains assigned and accessible. |
