Quotes Screen Reference
Create and review mobile quotes, hand a PDF to email or sharing, and understand status and access boundaries.
Before you start
- The mobile Quote Builder feature and Quotes capability are enabled.
Expected outcome
You can use mobile quote follow-up without treating a device handoff as verified customer delivery.
Access and list
Quotes requires the mobile_quote_builder feature and the resolved Quotes capability. The list searches current quotes, loads additional pages, and filters:

Open a quote for detail, use New Quote for a standalone quote, or open Quote Settings for rates, parts, business details, logo, and terms. Read-only plans can view supported records but cannot write operational quote changes.
Create
A standalone quote records customer details and line items. When opened from an inspection, the form preloads the site and its defects, requires at least one selected defect, and can build line items from that inspection. Optional AI labour estimates can suggest effort for selected defects; review the suggestions before saving.
Detail and send handoff
Draft detail supports line-item editing and current supplier-price snapshots. A quote needs billable content before Send Quote is enabled.
The mobile send flow:
- generates the current quote PDF;
- opens the device’s email composer, or the share sheet when email is unavailable;
- marks the quote Sent after that device handoff returns successfully.
This is not proof that the customer received or opened the message. Use the admin quote desk when durable delivery state or approval provenance matters. You can also download/share the PDF without changing customer approval state.
A Sent quote can be manually marked Accepted or Rejected after confirmation. Customer approval through a protected approval link is a separate admin-managed workflow.
Troubleshooting

| Email cannot open | Use the share fallback if offered and verify delivery outside the app. |
